The Lamp burns sure - within - 

Tho'Serfs - supply the Oil - 

It matters not the busy Wick - 

At her phosphoric toil!

The Slave - forgets - to fill - 

The Lamp - burns golden - on

Unconscious that the oil is out - 

As that the Slave - is gone.
